At the Carolina Medical Center we know the specific type of medical care required for the professional athlete. We know their expectations concerning the results of trauma and injury treatment. We know the limits of the body.

The Carolina Medical Center’s cooperation with sports associations is reflected in the achievements of the Polish sportsmen and women who achieve great success in major sporting events around the world. Doctors cooperating with our clinic were present during the Summer Olympics in Athens 2004 and Beijing in 2008, and during the Winter Olympics in 2006 in Turin. The Polish Olympic Committee chose The Carolina Medical Center as their partner to be the medical support team for the Olympic athletes preparing for the London 2012 Olympics and in Sochi in 2014.

We created a special medical care program for the athletes developed on the basis of our observations and experience with our sports associations’ counterparts. The program includes specially tailored medical services essential to ensure optimal care for athletes - both in terms of health preservation and preparation for sports competitions, as well as trauma and injuries treatment.
The medical care program for athletes includes:
-
sportsmen/women optimized medical preparation for the planned sports competitions
-
establishing a program of medical examinations and pharmacological support
-
sports injuries prevention
-
sports injuries recognition in the early stages
-
effective treatment of injuries and fast return to sport.
